Little Signs is an ASL learning app made by Simena Digital LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a Wyoming limited liability company based in the United States. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. Information You Provide

When you use Little Signs, you may provide the following information:

• Apple Sign-In identity: your name and email (or Apple's private relay email), used to create and secure your account.
• Learning progress: which units and signs you've practiced, stored against your account so it syncs across devices.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

Little Signs can check a sign you practise using your phone's front camera ("Sign it back"). The check runs entirely on your device: hand, body and face landmarks are computed transiently from the live camera feed, compared with the sign on your phone, and discarded the moment the check ends. No video, image or landmark data is ever recorded, stored, uploaded, or sent to us or to anyone else, and none of it is used for advertising, analytics, or to identify you. You can decline camera access and use everything else in the app.

We do not use any advertising-attribution SDK. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate the app:

• Apple (Sign in with Apple, StoreKit) — for authentication and in-app purchases.
• RevenueCat — to manage and validate subscriptions. RevenueCat receives your purchase history and a device/account identifier, never your name or email.
• Sentry — crash and error reporting, so we can fix bugs. Sentry never receives message content, learning progress, or account credentials.

4. Content Credit

Sign videos shown in the app are from the PopSign ASL v1.0 dataset (Georgia Tech & DPAN), licensed CC BY 4.0, used as-is with no modification to the signing itself. Full credit and license link are in Settings.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account removes your profile and learning progress from our servers within 30 days, except where we're required to keep records for legal or fraud-prevention reasons.

6. Children

Little Signs is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. We'll update the effective date above when we do.
